what great good luck. keeping it all in the family produces what are  
called “Marriage Dispensas” Seems that when couples were related they  
needed special permission to marry and this often involved lots of  
investigation and genealogy lines being produced. I’m not the expert on  
this subject and there are a few messages in the archives about  
Dispensas. . .I’m not sure that was the subject name. . .check out some  
of Steven Hernandez’ messages. Also George Ryskamp has a good chapter in  
his book about Mexican Genealogy on the subject. Did your Informacion  
Matrimonial investigation have a genealogy tree included?

This board is about Life, but life as related to Jalisco, Zacatecas,  
and Aguascalientes. This takes in a very very broad range of subjects  
since you can just about tie in anything in “life” to genealogy. That  
being said I’m trying to figure out how your message was not what we are  
here for. . .mind you that you won’t always get an answer but it never  
hurts (well it might hurt a little) it never hurts to ask.
